Voice Leaf is a text-to-speech app for iOS that reads your documents aloud using natural-sounding voices. Import PDFs, EPUBs, web articles, Word documents, or scan printed pages with your camera. Follow along with real-time word highlighting and adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 3x.
Voice Leaf supports PDF, EPUB, plain text, markdown, and Word documents (.doc, .docx). You can also import web articles by pasting a URL, scan printed pages using your camera, or paste text directly into the app.
Yes. You can download the audio for any document to listen without an internet connection. Downloaded audio is stored on your device and can be managed in the document settings.
Use the Share Extension. In Safari (or any app), tap the Share button and select Voice Leaf. The article will be saved to your library automatically. Open Voice Leaf and it will be ready to listen.
Voice Leaf offers multiple natural-sounding voices including Ashley, Graham, Elizabeth, and Dennis. You can preview each voice before selecting and set a default voice in Settings or change the voice per document.
Voice Leaf offers a Weekly plan ($3.99/week) and a Yearly plan ($49.99/year) which includes a free trial. Both plans give you unlimited listening, all premium voices, offline downloads, and full format support. You can cancel anytime through your App Store settings.
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases" under the Subscription section. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
Your documents are stored locally on your device. Text is sent to our servers only for speech synthesis, and is not stored after processing. We do not sell or share your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Email us at support@voice-leaf.com with a description of the issue or your feature idea. Include your device model and iOS version if reporting a bug, and we'll look into it.
